Why did you choose to attend Lake Forest College?
I chose to attend Lake Forest College for many reasons. One of them was the sense of community between all the students and the professors and staff as well. Everyone is very friendly and supportive and I think it's very hard to find that in a college, but it's something very common at Lake Forest!

What was the deciding factor that sold you on attending Lake Forest?
I loved how personal everything was. It was very evident that everyone from your classmates to the admissions directors wants to see you succeed. From the start of my application to the end, the advisors were there every step of the way and from there I knew Lake Forest was the school I wanted to attend.

Do you feel welcome as a transfer student at Lake Forest?
I felt super welcomed! Help is offered whenever you need it and I found that because of the amazing community at Lake Forest College it was easy to fit right in and meet a bunch of new people.

What do you like best about Lake Forest College?
Honestly, I just love everything about it. The academics are great, it really pushes me to expand my knowledge without overwhelming me with too much work. All of the people are amazing, the campus is beautiful, there's so much opportunity to get involved not only on campus, but off campus for jobs and internships as well.

Do you have a favorite spot on campus?
I have yet to spend a semester on campus, but I have a feeling that I'll be spending a lot of time at the Sports and Recreation Center (because I'm an athlete) but also the Mohr Student Center!

What advice would you give to a student considering transferring to Lake Forest?
To me, I found visiting the campus was a crucial part of my decision. It really allowed me to get a feel for the school and learn a lot more information about it too. I would suggest trying to visit and spend time on campus as much as possible because it'd be a big help. I also think talking to current students is very beneficial because they'll be able to answer any and all questions and potentially help you make the right choice of choosing Lake Forest College!
