Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies
Studying at the intersection of disciplines like psychology, economics, communication, philosophy, and the arts, students in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies acquire and apply the tools of scholarship in gender and sexuality across their coursework.
Our students and faculty study the world’s societies, past and present, for a deeper understanding of the ways gender and power shape women and men into gendered beings, who, in turn, perform and recreate power and gender. Faculty and students at Lake Forest see value in examining issues of gender and sexuality as they interact with race and class, and as they impact everyone.
