Two economics papers co-authored by Rob Lemke published

Morten Professor of Public Policy and Professor of Economics Rob Lemke recently had two co-authored papers published about energy consumption and environmental policy in China.

Lemke co-authored the papers with C. James Hueng from the Department of Economics at Western Michigan University and Xinhua Zhang from the School of Economic and Management at Changsha University of Science & Technology.

Using a Price Floor on Carbon Allowances to Achieve Emission Reductions under Uncertainty” was published in Economic Analysis and Policy, a scholarly journal that publishes articles from all branches of economics with a particular focus on theoretical and applied research with strong policy relevance.

A Self-Selection Pricing Mechanism for Residential Electricity: Measures of Sustainability and Equity to Balance Market Mechanisms and Government Controls” was published in the Journal of Policy Modeling. The Journal is published by the Society for Policy Modeling as a forum for analysis and debate on policy issues with a particular focus on economic, social and political developments shaping the world and the policies needed to improve them.
