Scott Edgar addresses challenges of teaching music remotely

Associate Professor of Music Scott Edgar discusses and explores the different ways in which students can connect with learning music, an emotional and social art form, while studying remotely.
Edgar has taken part in multiple outlets over the past weeks to try and make sense of the new learning environment students and teachers find themselves in.
He has participated in several webinars, one for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), wrote a two part blog for the NAfME and one blog for Noteflight, and an article for the School Band and Orchestra Association.
Edgar’s goal is to reach out to these students and teachers of music to have a fulfilling and successful learning experience while school campuses are closed.
