Omicron Delta Kappa initiates new members

Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, inducted 18 new members—the largest number of initiates inducted in a single year at the College.
Hajar Habbal ’19, president of the Lake Forest chapter, gave the invocation at the ceremony in Calvin Duran Hall on December 9. The initiates were presented with the Laurel Crown Circle, the honor society’s symbol of achievement, upon their introduction.

- Zubair Mohammed ’21, neuroscience major
- Grace Monshausen ’21, neuroscience and philosophy double major
- Audrey Paglia ’21, elementary education and Spanish double major
- Brett Palmero ’20, neuroscience and biochemistry and molecular biology double major
- Diayan Rajamohan ’21, sociology and anthropology major
- Rachel Robbins ’21, international relations major

The ODK honor society was founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The organization was formed to honor students who attain a high standard of collegiate activities. The Lake Forest College chapter was officially charted in April of 2014.
