What made you commit to Lake Forest College?
I toured the campus and I liked how everyone said hi to each other. Everyone felt like really close to each other, and that's something I didn't have a community college. I was excited to be part of a community.
What do you recommend incoming transfer students do to ensure they have a positive transfer experience?
Get involved. I'm on the volley ball team, and I like having everyone on the team there to support me no matter what. I'm also part of the Muslim Students Association and the Islamic Ancestry Organization. There are so many ways to get involved in campus life, and I definitely recommend going to Forester Fair to see what fits.
What has been the most exciting part about transferring?
I have like a much better idea of what I want to do after college now that I've gotten to explore so many different things. Now that I have gotten to try different things, I know I really enjoy working with social media and managing and organizing content in that way.
Do you have a favorite spot on campus?
I love the sports center, and I also love the library. The downstairs always smells like coffee.
What has been the most rewarding part of your experience at Lake Forest College?
I love all my professors and all the people I have met here. I also enjoy the sense of community and the clarity I have about my career.
