What drew you to Lake Forest College?
I was drawn to the small classes and was amazed of how welcoming the Forester community was when I first stepped foot on campus.

Have you had experiences here—besides your classes—that have helped prepare you for your future?
The Career Advancement Center and the accessibility of my professors gave me the confidence to reach out and network with Alumni or Employers. This experience has given me multiple perspectives enough to consider what I want and also what I do not want for my future. My courage to consistently ask questions to my mentors or my professors certainly helped direct me to the right path for my future.

How are you handling the sudden change and transition to online learning?
Online learning is challenging. This is a semester like no other. However, I am much more proactive and focus on what I can control which is trusting that the college made the right decision to remote learning which keeps the Forester community safe. This semester is consistently about finding ways to adapt and constantly seek support from friends, family, faculty and staff. I believe I am handling online learning to the best of my ability. It helps to know that the entire Forester Community is going through this all together.

What do you do in your free time?
I like to ride my bike in between classes and read a ton of books on Economics and Self-Development.

What are your plans after graduation?
I hope to pursue a Ph.D in Environmental Economics or seek a career where I can learning something new everyday. I can also see myself heading into the consulting industry, a think tank, or a nonprofit organization that focuses on sustainable development.

Any advice for new Foresters?
Never be afraid to ask questions or seek help; Foresters are always there for one another.

What has been your favorite memory at Lake Forest College?
Delta Chi's Jimmy V Talent Show. This is the event where my brothers from my fraternity gather to host a talent show for different organizations on campus to compete while raising money for the V Foundation Cancer Research. I got to host this event and performed with the LFC Dance Team.

Parting words?
You will know that Lake Forest College is the school for you when you cannot picture yourself anywhere else. There is no place I would rather be. Go Foresters!
