My life before Lake Forest

I grew up in various parts of the Midwest but spent most of my life in the western suburbs of Chicago. I then chose to attend the University of Iowa, where I earned both a Bachelors and a Masters before starting my journey here at Lake Forest!

Top three reasons I would choose to attend Lake Forest College
1.) The Academic Environment
2.) The Multitude of Opportunities on Campus

3.) Proximity to Chicago

One word or phrase to describe myself

Charismatic!

What makes the College unique?

The interconnectedness that staff, faculty, and the student body share is truly unique in my time in not only my college process, but my college experience as well.

Tip for the college search

Visit campus! It’s the place that you’ll call home for the next four years, it’s important that it feels like the place you want to be, not just a place that looks good on paper.

What character traits do I appreciate in an applicant?

Openness. I really appreciate when students are candid with their answers about not only themselves but their college search process as well.

Hint for success

Do not be afraid to ask questions! It shows not only that you’re interested and engaged with the process, but that you’re interested in us as well!
