Admitted Student Visits and Events

The College looks a little different after you've been admitted.

Now that you've been admitted to Lake Forest College, it's time to spend a day as a Forester! At any one of our admitted student personal visits or events, you can build your own schedule, giving you a personalized experience of the College.

Available Options Include:

Admitted Student Personal Visit

Personal visits are offered Monday-Saturday and are a great way to explore the Forest at a time that best meets your schedule.

An admitted student visit could include:

  • campus tour
  • meeting with your admissions counselor
  • chatting with a coach
  • talking with current students
  • lunch in the Caf* (available starting March 22)
  • sitting in on a class*  (available starting March 22)
  • professor chat* (available starting March 22)

*Due to the enhanced nature of these options, if you do choose to participate in any of these options you will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID test 48 hours prior to your scheduled visit.

Future Forester Days (March 24, April 3, or April 14)

During the day you will:

  • Attend classes with your future professors
  • Tour our residence halls, arts and athletic facilities, and science building
  • Learn about important college resources like our Career Advancement Center, Center for Chicago Programs, Global Engagement Office, Center for Academic Success, and more
  • Engage with current students who can share personal stories about their own Forester experience
  • Find your people-many Foresters meet their future roommates, teammates, and lifelong friends!

Future Forester Visit Program for Out-of-State Students

The campus visit is one of the most integral parts of a student’s final college decision, and we are excited to share our admitted student reimbursement visit program for out-of-state first-year students where we will subsidize up to $500 in travel expenses.
