The Lower Fox Watershed in northeast Wisconsin is an area that is filled with a rich history. From the very beginning, residents of the watershed utilized the surrounding land and waterways; however, as a result the area is currently cleaning up the Fox River, the largest waterway of the watershed, with the hope to get the area back to its natural state.
Lower Fox Watershed
Located in northeast Wisconsin in the counties of Brown, Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago, the Lower Fox Watershed covers 638 square miles. The Fox River is the largest body of water in this watershed and it flows south to north, from Lake Winnebago to Green Bay.Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
