Life Under The Sun is an exhibition and workshop series created by Tiffany Holmes, a Chicago based artist. Tiffany Holmes’ art and design projects offer new ways to visualize environmental information, and make such data accessible and interesting. The overall goal of her projects is to promote sustainable modes of living and environmental stewardship. The aim of Life Under the Sun was to engage faculty and students at Lake Forest College directly in a dialogical conversation about the capacity of creative practice to produce new forms of social awareness and environmental sensibilities. Two linked campus workshops contributed to the overall exhibition content and enabled students from various departments to engage with the artist in a dialogue about creative action to aid the planet.
