Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach (Part Time)
Lake Forest College invites applications for a part-time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach position. The position, which is ideal for someone desiring experience in an NCAA Division III collegiate coaching environment, will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to assist the head coach with a wide variety of coaching duties to continue to build upon and accomplish the overall goals and objectives of the women’s lacrosse program. The nature of the position is such that a considerable amount of evening and weekend work may be necessary. The chosen candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the department's and the College's mission, goals, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist the head coach with all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, practice and game coaching, recruiting (including off-campus travel to prospective student-athlete competitions), daily administrative operations, strength and conditioning supervision, and other duties as assigned. Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment while motivating student-athletes and be insurable to drive College vehicles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with collegiate participation and/or coaching experience in women’s lacrosse at the NCAA level preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
$8,000 -$10,000 (total compensation for February – May), based on availability
