Inaugural Lecture: From the Center(s): Innovative Education at Lake Forest College, 4:30 p.m.

Join Krebs Provost and Dean of the Faculty Davis Schneiderman and Ernest H. Volwiler Professor of Mathematics DeJuran Richardson as they deliver an overview of the College’s curricular innovations and pedagogical programming while highlighting the Applied Data Center and the Krebs Center for the Humanities. President Baren will provide a brief introduction. Light refreshments will be provided prior to the lecture.

Inauguration Ceremony, 4:30 p.m.

President Baren will be formally invested with the presidency of Lake Forest College. The event will feature an academic procession and a keynote address by the President. 

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. General audience should be seated by 4:20 p.m.

Following the ceremony, Lake Forest College invites you to join us for the Inauguration Reception located in the Varsity Gym in the Sports and Recreation Center. The celebration will include refreshments and the opportunity to meet Dr. Baren and members of our extended campus community.
