Psychology

I chose to double-major in biology and psychology because research in these areas has led to the development of treatments for various illnesses, as well as revelations about human behavior and brain function.  I hope to use my knowledge as a supplement on my path in becoming an optometrist.  My ultimate goal is to provide services to people in need, such as people in low income regions who do not have access to proper medical institutes or who might not have insurance to cover the costs of these services.  I plan to start serving in Illinois, but I’d also like to travel around the world to perform the same services to others in need.
