At this signature event, students meet with professionals in the Forester Network for short career conversations, providing a valuable opportunity to gain career advice, practice essential networking skills, and learn about available internships and jobs.

Speed Networking is a great way for students to meet friendly Foresters who will help them:
  • Practice essential conversational skills and learn how to initiate networking relationships
  • Get connected to the extensive Forester Network within their Career Pathway and build a professional network
  • Gain industry insights in career fields of interest

Event Agenda

  • 5:30-5:50p.m. | Check-In and Open Career Pathway Mingling
  • 5:50-6:05p.m. | Welcome and Opening Remarks
  • 6:05-8p.m. | Networking Rounds: Students and professionals will rotate through networking stations grouped according to career areas of interest
  • 8:00-8:30p.m. | Additional Connection Opportunities 
    • Open Networking: Connect with any students you did not already meet or with whom you want to connect again
    • (Upon Invitation) Employer Spotlight Booths: Select employer partners will be invited to host booths, offering the chance to speak to a broader population of participating students about full-time jobs and internships at their organization

Student Registration

Due to event popularity and limited availability of spaces, juniors and seniors will receive preference for Speed Networking registration, but all are encouraged to attend Prep Sessions to join a waiting list. 

Students must first register for one of the Prep Sessions below by Thursday, October 10, at 10a.m. Students will complete final registration for the event at the session.

Professional Registration

Professionals can register here until Thursday, October 17.
