Dr. Dali Yang, William Claude Reavis Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Chicago joins us to talk on China's health emergency response to Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan. This lecture specifically investigates the political and bureaucratic processes that hindered information flows, limiting understanding of the virus's contagiousness and hampered effective decision making.
