Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit

On March 31, from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm, all participants will gather for an inaugural event that will set the tone for the conversations and launch the cohort work.
Between March 31 and April 14, we ask that assigned cohorts meet at least twice--on a schedule convenient for members--to discuss their particular concerns, plans, and commitments around equity and inclusivity at the College. The planning committee will provide materials for cohorts to read and discuss, although the cohorts are certainly welcome to branch out and seek further common readings. The purpose of the cohort discussions is, first, to develop a deeper understanding of particular issues around diversity, equity, and inclusion; and second, to agree upon a set of commitments that members intend to implement in their work/learning at the College.
Finally, on April 14 , from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm, all Summit participants will gather once more to share what they learned in their cohort and what commitments to change they have made.
