John Waters tickets snapped up in a week

December 05, 2010

More than 300 Lake Forest students, faculty, staff, and alums, along with several Chicagoland fans of famous director and pop icon John Waters secured their seat for his talk on March 24. Others are put on a waiting list.

In a talked titled “This Filthy World,” Waters will discuss his careers in film, art, and literature and will rant about his life, pop culture, and things that make him crazy as only John Waters can. He will take questions, sign autographs, and pose for pictures. The event is sponsored by the Ruth A. Winter Lecture Series, and is the culmination of a two-month long John Waters Film Festival going on now on campus.
