Earl J. Barnes II is Deputy General Counsel at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH).  He currently serves as a member of the Saint Xavier University President’s Advisory Council for the School of Nursing.  Prior to joining NMH, he was Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel at Rockford Health System.  Previously, he was a partner in the Chicago office of Gardner Carton & Douglas. 

A 1986 graduate of the College, Mr. Barnes received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989.  Mr. Barnes previously served the College’s Board from 2002-2010. 

James R. Donnelley is General Partner with Ampersand Reset & South Eastern, an investment concern headquartered in Chicago. Mr. Donnelley previously spent 40 years in the commercial printing industry with R.R. Donnelley & Sons, serving the firm as Vice Chair from 1990 to 2000.

Mr. Donnelley received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1957 and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1962.

Mr. Donnelley has served numerous terms as a College Trustee. His most recent previous tenure ended in 2010.  He serves on the board of numerous non-profits, including the Chicago Public Library Foundation, Children’s Memorial Hospital and WTTW Public Television.   

Mark W. Helderman is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Sasco Capital, Inc.  Based in Fairfield, CT, Sasco is an asset manager specializing in contrarian/value equity investing.  The firm provides its services to pension and profit sharing plans, charitable organizations, state and municipal governments, individuals, investment companies, endowments, and foundations. 

Prior to joining Sasco Capital in 1997, Mr. Helderman was employed by McDonald & Company Securities and Roulston Corporation of Cleveland, OH.  He earned his B.A. from the University of Dayton. 

Mark A. Nagle has served as Chairman of the Board and President of Czarnowski Display Service since 1978.  He joined the firm in 1974.  Czarnowski is an exhibit and event company with a global client base, providing design, fabrication, installation, warehousing and other related services.  In addition to its Chicago headquarters, Czarnowski has nearly forty locations across North America. 

Mr. Nagle graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1972 with a B.A. in Industrial Design.  He is a past Director and President of Exhibit Designers and Producers Association. 

Richard E. Uihlein is Chief Executive Officer of Uline Inc., which he founded in 1980.  Uline produces and distributes more than 14,500 packaging and shipping supplies, janitorial products and other items and employs over 2,600 people.  Headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI, the firm has offices and distribution centers in California, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Texas, Mexico and Canada.    

Mr. Uihlein graduated from Stanford University in 1967.  He worked for General Binding Corporation prior to starting Uline.  

Claudia Wyatt-Johnson is co-founder of Partners In Performance, Inc., a human resources consulting firm based in Chicago.  Prior to forming the company, she was a Principal with Ernst & Young, compensation practice leader for Watson Wyatt, and Director of Compensation and Benefits for Playboy Enterprises, amongst other appointments.   

Ms. Wyatt-Johnson graduated from the College in 1969.  She received her Master’s degrees in Political Science and Industrial Engineering from Loyola University, and completed the Harvard Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business School.
